The Worst President of All Time?
Atlanta, GA
October 5, 2022
A couple years ago, we stirred the pot by assessing every occupant of the Oval Office (or whatever office preceded it).
We sampled the executive stew, appreciated the few palatable portions, and spit out the most rancid elements. Now, only eighteen months later, we must revise the recipe.
The best presidents have remained the same since before the Depression (they are here, here, here, and here). I doubt that list will ever change.
But the worst seem to shift with each inauguration. The current batch is here, here, here, and here. Last year, an especially sour ingredient was added to this bitter brew.
Usually, a president needs to leave office before we can digest the damage he inevitably does. But the current executive turned our stomachs within a few months. So this morning we take our Ex-Lax, gulp our Milk of Magnesia, and try to pass the poison that’s been shoved down our throats.
More than an election is needed to unclog the destruction done by whoever embalms Joe Biden each day. Impeachment won’t be enough. The country needs an enema, and a plunger.
If this isn’t the worst administration that hasn’t invaded American states (yet) or joined a World War (yet), it’s clearly the most brazen and embarrassing. It’s hard to believe it’s done this much damage in less than half a term. The incompetence and iniquity is astounding.
And it’s not as if the carnage is an accidental by-product of admirable intentions. The deprivation and destruction are proudly pronounced goals! Politicians and bureaucrats once respected the rubes enough to at least euphemize heinous policy or nefarious plans.
Their opinion of us is now so low they don’t have the decency to lie about their insidious intent. But can you blame them? Covid unveiled many Americans as compliant sheep and whipped dogs. They’ll do what they’re told if they think their masters will keep them “safe”, provide them treats, and occasionally let them out of their pen or off their leash.
This president comes right out and tells us he’s “impatient” with us, we’re his enemy, our medical decisions can be dictatorially decreed, we must forgo reliable energy to calibrate “the climate”, that boondoggle subsidies to ineffective alternatives will reduce inflation, our freedom of movement can be repealed on a whim, we must replace red meat with bugs and sludge, that free speech is provisional, and if we resist these perversions and privations, we’ll be targeted as “terrorists” and stripped of our rights.
Because of Putin.
The Biden regime is as sinister as it is stupid. Which is saying something. It’s filled with dangerous ideologues indistinguishable from French Jacobins or Russian Bolsheviks. Like these evil antecedents, those choreographing our current crises layer overt tyranny with juvenile insanity.
As with most presidencies, Biden’s tries to impose its will and pick our pockets. But unlike other administrations, this one savors the prospect of offending nature, mocking tradition, and poking a finger in normalcy’s eye. The whack-jobs it employs not only promote the weird psychoses of “woke” ideology; they insist we all adopt them.
This White House is a freak-show of transvestites, “public health” charlatans, economic witch doctors, ardent abortionists, and geopolitical imbeciles who callously tempt destruction of the world. And they’d have us believe that those who question their sanity are the ones who are crazy. Using a typical tactic of totalitarian minorities, they ostracize opposition by asserting that anyone not in the “majority” (which they naturally claim to represent) is by definition “extreme.”
Long a senatorial shill for corporate cronies using his home state as a legal base, Joe Biden has always relished his role as reliable windsock for a lucrative breeze. He’s always been something of a clown…the creepy sort who scares the kids. He’s the epitome of a political hack. Yet not since Lincoln has a president waged such unrelenting war on so many Americans.
Like most politicians…especially those whose careers have coated the capital like toxic algae atop a polluted pond…our current president has no principles. His allegiance is to the “elite”, and to whatever will expand his power or enhance his fortune.
We judge presidential performance by how well executives adhere to their oath of office. The list of duties is strictly limited and precisely defined, as we noted in our own “inauguration” speech the day the current occupant took office. Anything done beyond these bounds is an impeachable offense.
Under this president, the entire Bill of Rights is under attack. The ruling regime treats each amendment as if it were a college intern at a congressional Christmas party. The Administration flatters the First Amendment, while imploring its social media wing-men to wantonly violate it. The Second, Ninth, and Tenth are subjected to unapologetic assault, while the Fourth is molested by dictatorial decrees that routine transactions be monitored and pharmaceuticals be coerced into every American arm.
He’s been waging this battle since he came into office. His first year was essentially a relentless onslaught against anyone questioning the absurd propaganda that face coverings and compulsory injections were prerequisites to “defeating Covid” and leading a normal life.
In prepared speeches and off-the-cuff remarks, he vilified those who dared make health decisions of which his handlers and sponsors disapproved. A year ago, in an address dripping with authoritarian condescension, the president relinquished all constitutional pretense by ordering employers of a certain size to require employees consume designated drugs.
The Supreme Court eventually reversed this obvious outrage, but much damage was already done. Millions either succumbed to medication they didn’t want, or sacrificed careers that they did.
As usual, the perpetrators suffered nothing, aside from being told they’d gone too far. No criminal charges or victim compensation would be forthcoming. It was like a thief being told to stop stealing, yet he could keep what he’d already taken.
But the robbery continued. Today we learned US government debt crested $31 trillion. Those drinks weren’t all on Biden’s tab. Several drunken spendthrifts preceded him to the bar. The bill was “only” $6T when GW Bush entered office, doubled during his term, and then doubled again under Obama. Trump added the same debt in half the time, setting a dubious standard his successor seems determined to exceed.
Boondoggles and give-aways like the CHIPS Act, Student Debt “forgiveness”, the Orwellian “Inflation Reduction Act”, and the Ukrainian rathole perpetuate and exaggerate the economic problems the government previously caused. And while the regime spends unprecedented amounts of other Americans’ money, it deprives them of essentials by imposing destructive regulations to control “the climate.”
And they wonder why people are upset?
As a good leader does, President Biden decided to address these concerns. In typical fashion, he did so by denouncing them.
A month ago, the president went to the place where sovereign states declared independence from a central authority. Outside the building where secession was proclaimed, Joe Biden personified why our ancestors resorted to that remedy.
He had the ring of a demented Roman emperor denouncing his rivals. “MAGA Republicans” are the new “unvaccinated”: this year’s enemy to replace last year’s demon. They are veritable traitors and a threat to “democracy”, a term that’s rarely defined but that we’re supposed to assume is a secular sacrament.
Like Chancellor Sutler framed by praetorian guards, he declared war on millions of Americans who dare oppose him. In essence, the “War on Terror” has been turned inward. To help fight it, he beefed up the FBI, and hired more new IRS agents than there are soldiers in the British Army.
While he invites civil war and economic collapse at home, he tempts nuclear war abroad. As leaves and temperatures fall across Europe, the US government is turning up the heat. After provoking a Russian invasion of its Ukrainian laundromat, the Biden Administration is doing all it can to prolong the war. And to widen it.
As fuel prices soared and the air began to chill, protests proliferated around Europe. When the weather is nice and pantries are full, self-righteous virtue is a luxury even the most economically illiterate can afford to indulge.
But when days shorten, snow falls, and food runs low, appetite for suicidal sanctions seems to weaken. To keep it from being satiated, terrorists blew up the feeding tubes. You’d have to be a blithering idiot not to suspect those terrorists work for the Biden Administration. Biden warned us that the Nord Stream pipeline wouldn’t exist if Russia invaded the Ukraine, and his Secretary of State celebrated when it was.
The usual suspects claim (preposterously) that the Russians did it, which means the usual suspects are likely guilty. Russia has almost no incentive to destroy its own infrastructure, which it could simply have shut down to exercise leverage. Now, that leverage is gone.
But so too is much of the reason for Europeans to abandon sanctions on Russia. This also benefits US LNG producers who can try to replace some of the lost gas with more expensive and cumbersome supplies from the states. That this reduces gas available to Americans is a consideration the administration’s made clear is not their concern.
What should be a concern is an imbecilic escalation toward nuclear war. Not only is the Biden Administration doing nothing to prevent such a catastrophe, it’s seems to be wantonly encouraging that unspeakable eventuality. But why?
Notwithstanding the Biden family money that flows thru the Ukraine, this isn’t about a particular presidential puppet…whether in Washington or Kiev. It’s about the permanent State the pulls the strings. The puppeteers aren’t “conspirators” in the smoke-filled back-room collaboration sense. They’re more like bees in a hive.
They have inherent common interests, and act on mutual instinct. They needn’t formally “agree” on what must be done any more than a pack of wolves decides it should devour a flock of sheep. Their only debates are how to confine the flock, and how to consume the carcasses. If they get their way, there’ll be plenty of them.
It’s hard to know if this is the worst presidency we’ve ever had. But we can safely say the system that produced it is as bad as it’s ever been.
